The KB Frontdesk Manager runs on the Firebird server, version 1.5. The Firebird is installed with its default settings which includes running it as a Service and starting it automatically when the PC is powered on. The Firebird installer is provided together with the KB Frontdesk Manager files.
The KB Frontdesk Manager files comprises of programme files and database starter files which are to be copied into the following folders created from the root of the host PC:-

Distribution of files are as follows:-
	C:\KB\PRG comprises:-
	+	Frontdesk.exe
	+	Frontdesk.ini
	+	Frontdesk.cfg
	+	Background.jpg
	+	GDS32.dll
	C:\KB\FBDATA comprises:-
	+	Frontdesk.fdb

After the above load the frontdesk.exe and you will be required to enter the following information:-

In a networked environment all the workstations will load the same database from the host PC and in these workstations, the “Firebird Host Computer” will refer to the fixed IP address of the host PC.
